Estate Shiraz
Wine
Paringa Estate Shiraz is sourced from the winery's low yielding, cool climate vineyards at Red Hill on the Mornington Peninsula.
After fermentation, the wine is put to one third new French oak barrels and placed in the winery's barrel room, built partly below ground level. This ensures the wine ages at a stable temperature throughout its 18 months in oak.
A rich crimson, Paringa Estate Shiraz is a medium bodied, cool climate Shiraz with peppery black fruit flavours and long, fine tannins. Cellaring potential is six years.
